Loreto Convent School in 2009 celebrated 131 years of commitment to both Education and the passing on of sound Gospel Values to all its learners.
The Catholic Ethos is nurtured and cherished in our school, as we continue to uphold the vision of Mary Ward, the Foundress of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This was a special year for all Loreto Convents worldwide, as 400 years ago Mary Ward was inspired to open the first Loreto Convent School; a School dedicated to the education of young women and girls. Her motto was “ In time, women will do much”- and this has certainly proved to be the case!
